Dillali and Kaduna Business School(KBS) strike a strategic partnership, making it easier for tech founders to manage their financial record keeping, efficiently.
Dillali Technology and Kaduna Business School have signed a strategic agreement to support the Kadstep Singularity initiative of Kaduna State - a program to upskill 25,000 youth in tech. The focus of the initiative is to impart the right skills, positioning Kaduna state as the foundational hub for the next wave of startups in Africa.
The Kadstep Singularity is a twelve-week online program, consisting of programming, data science, entrepreneurship, business development, and a disruptive innovation challenge. It also includes a job-seeking track that prepares individuals with the latest tech skills for placement in unicorn organizations, globally.
The Rector of Kaduna Business School, Dr. Dahiru Sani, says: “If you begin to think towards the metaverse, an understanding of the metaverse will tell you that everything now is heading towards bits and bytes, and we cannot leave entrepreneurs or young people in our environment like that." He adds, "We have to be deliberate about onboarding them into understanding and operating in that new world. And it has started."
"Building great startups is not just about technology but having a sound understanding of finance and operations, particularly by technical founders," says Ibrahim Bashir, co-founder of Dillali.com. "We are particularly excited to be part of this initiative as we have been working closely with Kaduna Business School since 2020."
Dillali plays an integral role by providing a tool to enable all participants to keep up-to-date financial records, including expense tracking, income forecasting, and billing, among others. "This is where Dillali's financial management tool will help over 25,000 people that will join the Kadstep Singularity program," says Sarah Etim, Partnership Manager at Dillali.com. "We aim to support them in becoming financially savvy for the unprecedented growth they are about to experience."
Key supporters and partners in the program include: The Government of Kaduna State; Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA); Recursive Capital; Ustaky; BitNob; Rana; HP; and, The Bank of Industry (BOI).
